Timothy J. Keating

President

Tim Keating is the President of Keating Wealth Management and oversees all investment counseling.

Mr. Keating has 31 years of Wall Street experience, including 17 years’ experience as the principal owner of Keating Investments, LLC, which he founded in 1997.

During its existence, Keating Investments managed three investment funds, including two private funds and a publicly traded closed-end fund focused on pre-IPO investing.

Mr. Keating is the author of numerous white papers on a variety of issues relating to the capital markets, ranging from IPOs to the Yale Endowment model of investing, and the Chairman of the Denver chapter of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs.

He also served on the Equity Capital Formation Task Force, whose members consisted of leaders from America’s startup and small-capitalization company ecosystems.  The Task Force’s report on refueling job creation and growth by reconnecting investors with small-cap companies was presented to the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 2013.

Before founding Keating Investments, Mr. Keating held senior management positions in the Equity and Equity Derivatives departments of Bear Stearns, Nomura and Kidder, Peabody in both London and New York.

Mr. Keating has been widely quoted in the national media, including publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily, The New York Times, USA Today, SmartMoney and the Venture Capital Journal.  He has been featured on Fox Business’ “After the Closing Bell,” Bloomberg TV’s “Bloomberg West,” CNBC’s “Street Signs,” TheStreet.com and Bloomberg Radio’s “Taking Stock” and “The Hays Advantage.”  Mr. Keating has also been a guest contributor to Forbes.com, InvestmentNews and Pensions & Investments.

He is a 1985 cum laude graduate of Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics.

Stephanie A. Keating

Marketing Director

Stephanie Keating is the Marketing Director of Keating Wealth Management.

From 1997 to 2014, Ms. Keating was a marketing consultant to Keating Investments, LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser. In that position, she was responsible for brand creation and management, and she also directed the development of creative, interactive, direct marketing and PR strategies.

Among other recognitions, Ms. Keating was the producer for a Keating Capital, Inc. television advertisement that won a W3 Silver Award in 2013 in the Video Animation category. W3 honors websites, videos and other forms of online advertising.

She began her career in 1987 working in the Reagan White House in the Office of the Cabinet Affairs, which served as the liaison between the President and his cabinet officers.

Ms. Keating lived in London for eight years, during which time she earned a Master of Arts degree in 19th Century British Literature from King’s College, University of London (1990), with a specialty in the works of Dickens. While in London, she was also an enthusiastic member of the Junior League of London, volunteering in several communityfocused projects.

Ms. Keating is a 1987 graduate of Harvard College with an A.B. in Government.
